Our History

 

Invicta Amusements is an amalgamation of three Kent-based amusement machine operators with our roots going back to 1960.

Christopher Street started trading as CMJS Leisure in 2001 Aged 16. He went on to work alongside CBS in 2003 before purchasing the premises the company trades from today in 2006.

Established in 1981 by David Grilli, Roger Marsden & Peter Grilli. The company originally specialised in sales becoming national distributers for PCP & BWB before going on to manufacture their own machines.

Granville Leisure Logo.png

Founded by Colin Corder in 1960 on the Isle of Sheppey. The company supplied the majority of the Islands Pubs & holiday parks

In 2013 CBS Leisure merged with CMJS Leisure and in 2015 a further merger with Granville Leisure took place.

 

In 2018 the company re-branded as Invicta Amusements. 'Invicta' is the moto for Kent from the Latin word meaning undefeated or unconquered' synonymous to the companies strong position today as a Kent-based supplier.
